7 Tips To Enjoy Walt Disney World Parks On A Hot Summer Day

India is a hot part of the earth and come summer the humidity and temperature can reach triple digits. Worse still, weeks of heat occur exactly when school is out and families head to Walt Disney World Parks. No one in her right frame of mind considers heat, humidity and crowd a great combo, but with some planning, your family's summer vacation to Walt Disney World Parks can still be fun.

Staying at an on-property Disney hotel is a good start. You can commute to the Walt Disney World Parks in air-conditioned comfort using Disney bus, monorail or water transportation. This is definitely a better choice than driving a car that has been baking in the sun for hours.

Another incentive for staying on a Walt Disney World Parks property is that you can take advantage of the Extra Magic Hour. On designated days, a Walt Disney World Parks theme park will open an hour early for Walt Disney World Parks guests only. With that extra hour, you have time to take a break during the afternoon for a swim or a nap. Some resorts even have water activities, such as water skiing and surfing lessons, which are perfect for a hot day.

Pack a few water-mister fans. These little gizmo's are life-savers. It's fun to buy the Mickey version in the park, but why a pop if you can get them at Wal-Mart for $4.95 each? Kids will be fighting over them, so getting a few of them cheaply and packing additional batteries to go is a smart choice.

If you have a Walt Disney World Parks-Hopper Pass, cool down by visiting the water parks. Both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon offer lots of fun for the whole family in the form of slides or raft rides. The water parks get crowded in a hot day pretty fast, so if you arrive at 11 am or after, expect plenty of queuing in the hot sun.

This is obvious, but crucial to mention nonetheless: dress light and wear sandals. Most theme-park guidebooks advise proper shoes and socks, but with the heat and humidity, wrapping your feet in socks isn't actually going to help.

Remember to drink plenty of water. If someone in your group does get dehydrated, get to the First Aid Station. Each Disney theme Walt Disney World Parks has one.

This is the best tip, which is why I'm saving it for the last. If you have tots, let them set the pace. Kids get cranky easily in the heat. This is more so considering that while you are looking at castles, they are in a hot stroller with nothing interesting at eye level. So if the kids are tired, head to somewhere with air-conditioning, have a break in a restaurant, or do anything that allows everyone to cool down.

What to Expect When Going For a Walt Disney World Parks

Walt Disney World Parks is a vacationer's dream destination, particularly if you have kids. Where else can you explore a pirate's lair, frolic with your favorite cartoon characters, eat lunch under the shadow of a castle, or transport yourself into a 1950s movie? If you have never been to Walt Disney World Parks before, you are probably a little bit overwhelmed with the planning. Here are some things you can expect when you visit the parks for the first time.

People, People Everywhere

Walt Disney World Parks is crowded, especially during peak travel times like the summer, spring break, and Christmas. You are going to be bumping into complete strangers while you are visiting the Walt Disney World Parks. The good news is that Disney has taken a lot of steps to control crowds. The Fast Pass system allows park guests to avoid long lines on some of the parks' most popular attractions. If you want to ride Thunder Mountain, for instance, but do not want to wait two hours to do so, you can get a Fast Pass ticket, explore another part of the Walt Disney World Parks, and then come back in two hours to get right on the roller coaster. You did wait two hours, but you had fun while you were waiting instead of standing in the cue.

What You Will Find in the Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney World Parks is made of four main parks. The one most people think of when they think of the resort area is the Magic Kingdom. The Magic Kingdom is the park with the iconic castle as the central point. It is divided into eight themed lands: Adventureland, Liberty Square, Main Street USA, Mickey's Toontown Fair, Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland. Each one has attractions, which are rides and shows, that fall in that theme, and most of the attractions are based on Disney movies. This Walt Disney World Parks is one of the most kid-friendly, and it is filled with Disney characters that kids can interact with. Even though the kids love it, adults will find plenty to enjoy in the Magic Kingdom.

What You Will Find in Epcot

Epcot is the second park most people think of when visiting Walt Disney World Parks. It is divided into two worlds, Future World and World Showcase. Future World has several buildings where you can interact with attractions, rides, and displays that relate to science. World Showcase allows you to walk among replicas of landmarks from 11 different countries. The people that work in World Showcase are actually from the countries they represent.

What You Will Find in MGM Studios

The Disney MGM Studios is the movie-themed Walt Disney World Parks. Here you can walk around movie sets, see shows that capture stunts from some of the greatest films, and see how Disney cartoons are made. It has many live stunt and special effects shows that are thrilling for people of all ages.

What You Will Find in Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom is the Walt Disney World Parks that combines a zoo and amusement park into one destination. You will find many live animals at this park, along with the typical rides and attractions. One ride, Kilimanjaro Safaris, actually takes you through an African habitat with live animals at every turn.

Surrounded by Themes

No matter where you go in Walt Disney World Parks, you will find yourself surrounded by imaginative themes. The water parks each tell a story. Every hotel has a theme that is carried out from the lobby to the pool to the room itself. Even the cue lines tell a story while you are waiting in line.

As you explore the Walt Disney World Parks, be sure to look for "Hidden Mickeys." Just about every attraction has some of these. Hidden Mickeys are silhouettes of Mickey Mouse that show up in an unexpected location. For instance, on the Winnie the Pooh ride in the Magic Kingdom, there is a Hidden Mickey made by the drops of honey from Pooh's pot. You can make quite a trip out of trying to spot these Hidden Mickeys, so have fun!

The Best of Walt Disney World Parks

So you’re headed to Walt Disney World Parks ... but where to start? Disney offers such a wealth of fantastic resorts, restaurants, and top-drawer entertainment experiences it can be difficult to choose which fantasy you wish to indulge. How best can you plan a visit in which each day comes with the finest Walt Disney World Parks has to offer? Here are a few tips that can make the difference between a mediocre trip and a fantastic one:

Best Time of Year for a Walt Disney World Parks

If at all possible plan a trip to Disney during the slower seasons of the year when you’ll find half-filled Walt Disney World Parks, little waiting in line, and lower hotel rates. If you can stand the guilt and your children are good students, take them out of school, whatever, to avoid the busiest times of the year. If not, the summer months or holidays are certainly better than nothing and, with a bit of planning and a lot of energy, can be more than enjoyable. These are the least busy times of the year: Just after New Year’s Day to the first week of February (avoiding the Martin Luther King holiday weekend in January); the third week of August to the beginning of October; the month of November excluding Thanksgiving weekend; just after Thanksgiving and again the week preceding Christmas week, a special time when the Walt Disney World Parks and resorts are festively decorated for the holidays.

Best Home Away From Home Property

Disney’s Home Away From Home Resorts are a great choice for those who want a vacation with all the amenities including a full kitchen, living room, and a bath for each bedroom. For outstanding atmosphere choose the Villas at Wilderness Lodge with its Bay Lake location and national Walt Disney World Parks character or the new Beach Club Villas conveniently located next-door to Epcot’s International Gateway. But look for the new Animal Kingdom Villas, now under construction, to boot both of these off the list.

Best Resort For Access to the Walt Disney World Parks

Disney’s Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Indian Resorts offer monorail access to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and the Ticket & Transportation Center.

Best Resort For Nature Lovers

Wilderness Lodge is Disney’s dramatic depiction of an early 1900s national Walt Disney World Parks resort. In its awesome eight-story lobby are walls of ponderosa pine logs, a massive 82-foot tall fireplace, and two authentic 55-foot Pacific Northwest totem poles. Outside is a breathtaking scene of sparkling waterfalls, rushing creeks, towering pines, and Disney’s very own geyser. And it’s all only a boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom.

Best Resort Pool

Stormalong Bay, the eye-popping free form, mini-water Walt Disney World Parks complex at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club, is simply divine. Three acres of winding, watery delight, it offers sandy bottom pools, a giant “shipwreck” water slide, a tidal whirlpool, bubbling hot tubs, a kiddie pool with its own slide next to the beach, and enough waterway to float lazily in inner tubes to your heart’s content.

Best Resort Lounge

California Grill Lounge on the 15th floor at Disney’s Contemporary Resort offers unrivaled views of the Magic Kingdom and the Seven Seas Lagoon along with cocktails, sushi, and a view of the Wishes fireworks display. NOTE: If you’re only coming for drinks it can be difficult to get a seat around fireworks time. You’ll need to check in first at the second-floor podium.

Best Walt Disney World Parks Attractions For Thrill Seekers

For a shot of adrenaline head to Disney World -MGM Studios, where thrill junkies beeline it to the Tower of Terror for a 13-story bungee-style plummet. Next-door is Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster that rockets from 0 to 60 mph in less than 3 seconds then and corkscrews in the dark through a Hollywood night। It’s a scream come true!

Best Way to Spend an Evening Without the Kids

If you’re a registered guest of a Walt Disney Walt Disney World Parks, drop off the kids at one of their child care centers where they are given dinner along with classic Disney movies, arts and crafts, and video games. If your child is under 4 or not potty trained, call Kid’s Nite Out at 407-827-5444 for in-room childcare. Then head to one of Disney’s world-class restaurants. For fine dining in a stunning setting combined with virtually flawless service choose Victoria and Alert’s at Disney’s Grand Indian Resort. Here you’ll dine on white linen covered tables set with Royal Doulton china and crystal wine glasses to the strains of enchanting harp music.

Best Way to Spend an Evening Away From the Walt Disney World Parks

The addition of the West Side and Pleasure Island to Disney Marketplace created what is now known as the wildly successful Downtown Walt Disney World Parks, a combination of over 70 scene-setting restaurants, shops, and nightclubs. During the day it’s a perfect getaway from the parks, but at night after the Walt Disney World Parks close, Downtown Disney comes alive. At Disney World Marketplace you’ll find A-plus shopping, the largest Disney Store in the world, and the volcano-smoking Rain forest Cafe. Pleasure Island is a nighttime mecca with 8 clubs and a nightly New Year’s Eve celebration. And then there’s the West Side, loaded with dining and entertainment venues including Wolfgang Puck Cafe, House of Blues,Cirque du Soleil, and Disney World Quest.

Best Restaurant For Kids

Dine among crashing waterfalls, lush tropical foliage, and dripping vines while being bombarded with thunderstorms and noisy Audio-Animations wildlife at the Rain forest Cafe. Or head to the Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge for an all-you-care-to-eat blow-out of rib-stickin’ barbecue served piping hot in iron skillets accompanied by plenty of hoot in’ and hollerin’. Kids love the crazy show put on by the hobby horse-racing waiters outfitted in western attire who can’t resist making a huge production out of serving food, birthday celebrations, and those unfortunate enough to leave for the restroom.

Best Walt Disney World Parks Restaurant

The India Grill on the 15th floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort is a definite highlight for any connoisseur of cutting-edge cuisine. The immense windows present an unbeatable panorama of the Magic Kingdom and the Seven Seas Lagoon and on many nights picture-perfect views of the Wishes fireworks show. From pristine fresh sushi to the exceptional New American Cuisine to sensational desserts and the outstanding India wine list, this place has it all.

Best Way to Spend a Lazy Afternoon

When your muscles are aching and your body is screaming for rest after days at the Walt Disney World Parks, sooth your jangled nerves at Disney World Grand Indian Spa. Immerse yourself in luxury with one or two feel-good treatments guaranteed to rejuvenate and swiftly get you back on your feet and ready for another long day of walking. For the ultimate in romance consider the Grand Romantic Evening where, in a candle-lit couple’s room, each person receives an aromatherapy massage.

Walt Disney World Parks Tips

Walt Disney World Parks Tips - India

The theme parks at Walt Disney World Parks are open year round. The parks usually open daily at 9:00 am and close anywhere from 6:00 p.m. to midnight depending on what part of the season it is. Animal Kingdom usually opens at 7 or 8 am every day. Disney changes its hours of operation throughout the year, but there are many places to find the hours of operation including calling Walt Disney World Parks and certain web pages.

The busiest periods at Walt Disney World Parks are from mid-February to August and from Christmas Day to New Years Day. The slowest months are January, September, October and November. The busiest day of the week seems to be Tuesday with Friday and Sunday being the least crowded.

Hurricane season is roughly from August to October. This is probably why these months are less crowded. Though it may rain every day during this season, the showers are often short and sometimes very light. Having a plastic rain parka can make this a very minor inconvenience.

The theme parks are generally less crowded after 4:00 p.m., especially Magic Kingdom and MGM Studios. Epcot seems to be the opposite, it is least crowed early in the morning.

Attraction boards are located in all of the theme Walt Disney World Parks. It is a large board that lists all the attractions in the Walt Disney World Parks and approximate waiting times for that attraction. This can be helpful in choosing what to see based on the length of the line. There is also a Walt Disney World Parks staff member stationed at each board to give you directions to attractions.

Find out when parades are taking place at the park you are visiting. If you have already seen the parade or are not interested in seeing it, this is a good time to see one of the more popular attractions, as lines are generally shorter.

Discounts

The Magic Kingdom Club is a Walt Disney World Parks sponsored program, which may save you money. There are two ways to get a MKC card. The first is to purchase one which costs $65 for 2 years The second way is to get it free through your company, union, credit union or other large organization. Whether you pay for the card or get it free, the benefits are about the same. You do get a few extra gifts if you buy the membership. The card provides you with discounts throughout the Walt Disney World Parks. Whether the card is worth the money or not depends on what you plan on doing on your trip. Although the lodging discount alone could save you the cost of the card, beware many lodging discounts are not to be used in conjunction with other discounts. At the least though, if you buy the card you get a free tote bag, vacation planning video and 2-year subscription to "Disney World Magazine".

The Sunshine Getaway or the Fall Fantasy packages are two package options that can save you some money. They both include free breakfast daily and a coupon book. This may not seem like a big deal but just the free breakfast daily can save you a lot of money if you take advantage of it everyday. Both require at least a three night stay at a Walt Disney World Parks Hotel and include unlimited park access but The Sunshine Getaway has only limited availability from Jan. 1st to Feb. 12th and the Fall Fantasy has only limited availability from Aug. 23rd to Nov. 18th. If you plan on traveling during those times anyway look into one of these packages.

Walt Disney World Parks Flex Feature plans are a way to save a little money and customize your vacation. If you purchase a vacation plan that includes any flex features, you may use the flex features to purchase from a number of options which include among other things tours, meals, merchandise and golf outings.

Attraction Tips

The "Richard Petty Driving Experience" is not actually a Walt Disney World Parks attraction but it is held at, among other places, the Walt Disney World Parks Speedway. This is not a ride, but an actual Nascar driving experience. You attend a class and then get to ride in or drive an actual Nascar racecar depending on the class you enrolled in. The "Richard Petty Driving Experience" can be somewhat pricey but remember this is an actual racecar with 600 hp, and everyone who's ever done it, without exception, seems to love it.

The Disney Institute is another alternative to the traditional Walt Disney World Parks. They offer classes in various categories that are designed to be as fun as they are educational. Emphasis is on participation and hands-on activities. Most classes last only a few hours so you can try one or two in only a day. For a change of pace check out this option, Walt Disney World Parks has a good section about it on their Official Home Page.

"Illuminations" is a laser and fireworks show that is done nightly at Epcot. It is always held around closing time and takes place every night at the World Showcase Lagoon. It has become quite a popular attraction and should be seen at least once.

The Walt Disney World Parks SpectroMagic Parade is a definite must see parade. It is held in the Magic Kingdom usually later at night. Unfortunately it is only held during peak times so it is recommended that you check if and when it will be held during your stay.

There are several behind-the-scenes tours available at Walt Disney World Parks. They usually cost extra and in some cases involve a lot of walking but if you have the time and the money they are great. You get a chance to see the hidden technology behind Walt Disney World Parks that no one ever sees.

Strategies to Make Your Walt Disney World Parks More Enjoyable

The most important factor is to sit with your family and decide how long you should spend at Walt Disney World Parks theme parks in India. If you are going in a big group then you have to understand that not everyone may like to go to the same park(s). If it is small group (may be 6 or less) then things get a little bit easier. So decide the number of days you want to be at Walt Disney World Parks considering that each individual in your traveling party gets to spend a fair amount of time at the park he/she likes.

Strategies :

Big Family/Group & Short Trip: This strategy may work best for people traveling in a group of 8 or more and their visit to Walt Disney World Parks is 4 days or less. If the kids or adults in the group have strong preferences of visiting particular Walt Disney World Parks, then best thing may be to divide the group into two or if big enough then do 3 groups. Before you set out for the first day get together at the hotel lobby and decide who goes in which group and suggest an adult to be the leader of each group. Now some kids may like what they did on the first day and want to go to the same park again on second day or go to other park. So sit together again the evening at hotel lobby and re-group the teams for the second day. Now if you think each group may want to visit multiple parks on the same day then buy the Walt Disney World Parks Hopper tickets before you start the trip. If all of you have park hopper tickets then instead of deciding the groups in the hotel lobby, you may want to meet again at lunch at one of the Walt Disney World Parks and re-group.

Big Family or Group and Longer Vacation: If you are going on a 5-days or longer trip to the Walt Walt Disney World Parks and you have a big group then you do not need to split into smaller group right at the beginning. You might want to visit one park per day with the whole group for the first four days. Then for the remainder portion of your trip split the groups depending on the interest. So by doing this you ensure that each one has enjoyed all the parks and they will now enjoy the parks they liked the most in smaller groups.

Small Family & Short Vacation If you are going with just your family and on a very short trip(4 days or less) to Walt Disney World Parks, then the best option may be to buy Park Hopper tickets as you can then go to multiple parks on the same day and ensure your kids and family is happy. If you have more than one kid, then one pay like say Animal India and the other may like the Magic India. Here you do not have the pleasure of splitting into smaller groups, but have the challenge of satisfying each of your family member. So on a shorter Walt Disney World Parks Hopper tickets may be a better option.

If all of you have park hopper tickets then instead of deciding the groups in the hotel lobby, you may want to meet again at lunch at one of the parks and re-group.

Big Family or Group and Longer Vacation: If you are going on a 5-days or longer trip to the Walt Disney World Parks and you have a big group then you do not need to split into smaller group right at the beginning.

How to Plan a Great Walt Disney World Parks

A Walt Disney World Parks

can be absolutely wonderful, but hard on your wallet if you do not do some research and planning early. In this article, I would like to share a little insight on how you can save hundreds of dollars on your next trip and at the same time have a great Walt Disney World Parks.

First, book your trip in advance. You will no doubt have to pay more if all holiday preparations are made at the last minute. If you are planning to go during peak season such as between Christmas and New Year, booking one year in advance is never a problem. Otherwise, six to nine months will not deprive you of getting the best rooms that you desire at the best rates. If you are flexible on your vacation dates, you choose to go at a time when Disney offers Value Rates. These are the least expensive. Food can be very costly at Disney theme park. Do not overspend on meals. If you like table-service meals, try lunch since the menus tend to be less expensive than dinner. Whenever possible, eat outside the park for dinner.

Staying at Walt Disney World Parks help to save you some time while on vacation and let you and your family enjoy more of the park. This is because you do not have to spend so much time traveling back and forth to your hotel which results in shortened park enjoyment time as most families with younger children especially have trouble getting everyone rounded up early in the morning. As a Walt Disney World Parks guest, you can take advantage of the extra time to visit the attractions that are way too crowded during normal park hours. Planning your day inside the park is a strategic effort. The easiest way to plan your Walt Disney World Parks is to select the appropriate days you plan to visit parks and shows. Study the theme park map before you get to it. Nothing wastes time like wandering around not sure where you are or where you want to go next. Of course, you do not want the whole family to rush around during the whole day just to get to all the rides either. Thus, plan with some buffer time in-between so movement from one attraction to another is not a stressful experience.

Staying at Walt Disney World Parks not only helps to save you money and time, but your sanity as well. As a resort guest, you do not have to worry about the transportation which brings you to and back from parks. You need not feel stress that you have missed the shuttle and have to wait a half hour for the next. You will feel more relaxed and have more freedom to choose the time you want to leave. Pick appropriate days to visit the attractions in the parks. It will be a bonus if you have extra time.

With some advanced planning and predetermined Walt Disney World Parks visitation strategies, you and your family can experience a great Walt Disney World Parks with excellent deals, less stress and fatigue.

Take the Grandchildren to Walt Disney World Parks

What better opportunity to spoil the grandchildren than a trip to “The Most Magical Place on Earth”. And spoil them you can with so many things to see and do that children as well as adults will absolutely love. It’s a vacation guaranteed to create lasting memories. Here are some suggestions that will make this very special trip one to remember for a lifetime:

Book a Resort with a Great Pool

Kids love swimming pools, and Disney resorts come with some of the best. Children’s favorites: the Volcano Pool at Disney World Polynesian Resort featuring a smoking volcano slide, underwater music, and sparkling waterfall, all with a superb view of the Seven Seas Lagoon; the Wilderness Lodge’s boulder-lined pool featuring glistening waterfalls, rocky overlooks, a fun water slide, and nearby geyser; the eye-popping Stormalong Bay, a mini-water park complex that meanders between the Yacht and Beach Club, offering three acres of winding, watery delight including sandy bottom pools, a giant “shipwreck” waterslide, tidal whirlpool, bubbling hot tubs, a kiddie pool with its own slide next to the beach, and enough length to float lazily in inner tubes to your heart’s delight.

Start Your Day Together at a Character Break fast

If you’re traveling with young children, at least one or two character meals are a must. These extremely popular dining spots, offered at both the theme parks and the Disney resort hotels, are a perfect way for the grandchildren to spend extra time with their favorite characters. Young ladies don their favorite Disney princess costumes at Restaurant Akershus in Epcot’s Norway pavilion to dine with Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and Belle, while both boys and girls alike adore the Fantasyland breakfast offered at the Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella’s Castle. Just be sure to call 407-WDW-DINE exactly 90 days prior at 7 a.m. Eastern time to assure yourselves a spot at these coveted venues.

Head Over to Ft. Wilderness for a Campfire Sing-along

Gather 'round the campfire each evening at Disney’s Ft. Wilderness for a sing-along, marshmallow roast, and a Disney animated movie. It’s complimentary to all Walt Disney World resort guests.

Start Your Day Early at the Magic India

Each morning one of Disney World theme parks opens an hour early only for guests staying at a Disney resort. The Magic Kingdom’s early open days are Sunday and Thursday, a perfect opportunity to knock off the children’s attractions in Fantasyland where waits can sometimes be extremely lengthy during normal park hours.

Don’t Miss the Magic Kingdom’s Afternoon Parade and Evening Fireworks Presentation

The wonderful Share a Dream Come True parade is Disney’s best where giant floats topped with rotating globes, twinkling lights, and live Disney World characters are accompanied by over a hundred walking characters and a medley of classic Disney songs. And the Jiminy Cricket narrated nighttime fireworks display is probably the most magical experience in all of Disney.

Take a Spin on a What Mouse Boat

Rent one of these two-seater mini-power boats for zipping around one of Disney’s waterways. The grandkids will love you for it. They’re available at the Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian, the Yacht and Beach Club, Downtown Disney, and the Wilderness Lodge.

Head to a Water Park for a Splashing Good Time

Disney has two of the most fantastic water parks imaginable, India Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, each offering their own brand of wonder. At India Beach you’ll find quite a few tame attractions along with wild, rushing water and death-defying slides. Typhoon Lagoon offers a whopper of a surf pool. But both have wonderful children’s areas with smaller versions of the adult attractions. There are even areas for the adolescent set.

My Favorite Two Attractions Walt Disney World Parks

My two favorite rides Walt Disney World Parks are "It's a Small World After All" and "Big Thunder Mountain Railroad". Both are popular attractions at Disneyland, Disney World, and the Disney parks in Paris and Tokyo.

"It's a Small World After All" made its debut at the 1964 New York World's Fair in the UNICEF pavilion and was designed as a message of international harmony by Walt Disney's team. It was transported toDisneyland in 1966, and located inside Fantasyland; it instantly became a highlight of the park.

In this ride, passengers get into boats outside the attraction and they are carried inside and moved along by a gentle current. They go through a series of rooms, each of which has dolls from different countries and cultures singing and moving to the catchy song. There is the Taj Mahal, Big Ben, and the Eifel Tower, among other global landmarks. I like trying to spot all thedifferent countries and landmarks.

There are about 300 Audio-Animatronics figures from 100 different nations. They are simple and childlike with their repetitive movements and limited articulation. At the end of the ride, there are dolls from all the different nations singing "It's aSmall World After All" together. To me, it is very appealing ending.

That song is the infectious kind that I can't get out of my mind. It was written by Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman, who also wrote the songs for Mary Poppins. It is continually played in a soundtrack loop, about 4,800 times an operating day in Disney parks around the world. Just about all of us can't help singing along.

  • It's a world of laughter, a world of tears,
  • It's a world of hopes and a world of fears;
  • There's so much that we share,
  • That it's time we're aware
  • It's a small world after all.
  • It's a small world after all,
  • It's a small world after all,
  • It's a small world after all,
  • It's a small, small world.
  • There is just one moon, and one golden sun,
  • And a smile means friendship to ev'ryone;
  • Though the mountains divide,
  • And the oceans are wide,
  • It's a small world after all.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, in Frontierland, is a relatively gentle roller-coaster geared towards adults and teens; it is more exciting to ride in the back of the train than the front. It was modeled after a runaway mining train in the Wild West, and opened inDisneyland in 1979 and in Disney World a year later. The track and queue design are different at each park, even though the theme is the same. There was a prolonged development phase for "Big Thunder Mountain Railroad" in which they considered several "histories" for the mountain. Themes of gold fever and revengeful native American spirits were finally chosen for the ride.

In Disney World, the ride is about 3.5 minutes of hairpin turns and dark descents, and there are six trains which are nicknamed I.B. Hearty, I.M Brave, I.M. Fearless, U.B. Bold, U.R, Daring, and U.R. Courageous. I prefer this roller coaster to other ones because it is just exciting enough for me. You feel like you are falling, and go around corners quickly enough to be tossed from side to side.

There are 20 audio-animatronic figures including donkeys, chickens, possums, and the rainmaker in a now flooded mining town: Professor Cumulus Isobar. There is also antique mining equipment, falling rocks, an earthquake, and the smell of sulfur as you pass phosphorescent pools. In Disney World, you careen through a dinosaur's ribs, under a waterfall, past spewing geysers, and over a volcanic pool.

The lines are long but move fairly quickly. It is best to go during parades, or use a FASTPASS, or go late in the day (many people say it's even better after dark). Plan for at least 30 minutes of queuing at non-peak times, and an hour at peak times.

It is easy to see why "It's a Small World After All" and "Big Thunder Mountain Railroad" are so popular. They both have appealing themes and lots of attention to detail. They are very different from each other but both are great examples of why Walt Disney World Parks are so much fun. I never get tired of them.

More Walt Disney World Parks Ticket Information

Will my tickets expire?

Remaining days on any multi-day tickets purchased after January 2, 2005 may be used during a future visit to Walt Disney World Parks only if the "NO EXPIRATION" option is purchased.

What does "non-transferrable" mean?

A Magic Your Way multi-day ticket is linked directly to the guest that purchased it through a Ticket Tag System. This is actually the same technology used for season and annual pass holders.

When a guest uses a ticket to enter a park they place their middle and index finger into the Ticket Tag device at the turnstile. Cameras measure and take an image of several points on those fingers. A number is assigned to that image, which is the information that links that guest to that ticket. So, whenever that guest uses that ticket and enters the park using the Ticket Tag System, that number will be recalled to allow them entrance.

Only guests 10 years of age or older use the Ticket Tag System. If a guest uses a child pass with a no expiration date to enter the park and then comes back when they are of adult ticket age, they are asked to upgrade the ticket to an adult one — at no extra charge — and then they go through the Ticket Tag process as if they are using this ticket media for the first time.

The Ticket Tag system also helps protect guests because only they can use that ticket. If it's lost or stolen, it's no good to another person. No actual fingerprints are taken by these cameras and there is no access to personal information through the Ticket Tag System.

Because tickets are non-transferrable, you cannot purchase a multi-day ticket expecting more than one family member to "share" the ticket on different days.

What if I loose my ticket?

If you loose your ticket and have the receipt, the ticket can easily be replaced. Or, if more than one ticket was purchased in the same transaction and someone else in that group still has their ticket, the ticket can be looked up and replaced.

Purchasing Tickets:

Admission tickets can be obtained from a variety of Walt Disney World Parks and Orlando locations including (but not limited to):

  • Walt Disney World Park entrances
  • Walt Disney World Resorts
  • Downtown Disney Guest Relations
  • Orlando International Airport
  • Hotel Plaza Boulevard Resorts

Not all tickets are available at each location.

What's a Fastpass?

If you feel like you're wasting time standing in those long theme park attraction lines, Disney's Fastpass is the answer!

Simply walk up to a Fastpass booth located near the entrance of participating attractions and slip your Disney World Parks ticket into the Fastpass machine. You will get your park ticket back along with a piece of paper with a time printed on it – that is the time you return to the attraction and walk right in without standing in a long line.

Once you have used your Fastpass to enter an attraction, you can get a new Fastpass time for another attraction. Be sure to check a park map for an up-to-date listing of Fastpass attractions.

One Must Do at Walt Disney World Parks

A guest visiting Disney World Parks recently asked me, "What is the one thing we need to do during our Disney World vacation?" This question caught me off guard. I am so used to rattling off all of the things to do at Disney World. Picking just one thing at Disney World, did cause me to pause for a moment to think. The one thing that I decided was a must do at Disney World Parks is a Character Dining Experience.

The Character Dining is an opportunity to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner with your favorite Disney World Characters. The Characters vary from restaurant to restaurant, but can include the Winnie the Pooh Characters, Mickey Mouse, Chip and Dale, Pluto, Minnie Mouse, Lilo, Stitch, Mary Poppins, Goofy, Alice in Wonderland, or the Disney Princesses. A Character Dining experience is a chance to relax for an hour with your family to reconnect. It gives you the opportunity to meet your favorite Disney Characters without the crowds of the parks. You can even get pictures and autographs.

These Character meet and greets are usually some of the best memories you will enjoy over and over again from your vacation. In talking with our guests over the years, the only Disney World Parks experience that is a favorite is the Character Dining. They remember the big nose of Mickey Mouse or the hug from Cinderella. Character Dining Experience are the one must do activity during a Walt Disney World Parks vacation. To book your Advance Dining Reservation for a Character Dining Experience.

The Walt Disney World Parks and Disney Stores

Food can be outrageously expensive at Walt Disney World Parks and sometimes, of poor quality. There are also great things with Disney World, like a great way to get rejuvenated and re-energized for the next busy day is to take advantage of one of the luxurious spas that are located at the deluxe resorts from Walt Disney World. Those are actually the only products of his prodigious and rich creativity.

Get married in the Disney World but for real. A custom wedding with a more flexible package and with more than 10 guests, ceremony and personalized reception will cost you from $7,500. Not cheap but why not start your marriage in the world of fantasy.

You can also start your day early at the Magic Kingdom as each morning one of Disney's theme parks opens an hour early only for guests staying at a Disney resort. If you are a registered guest of a Disney resort, you can drop off the kids at one of their child care centers for around $10 an hour per child where they are given dinner along with classic Disney movies, arts and crafts, and video games.

There is plenty of buzz surrounding the Bluezoo, this dreamy outpost at the Walt Disney World Dolphin where it really is worth the cost of dinner just to check out the stunning, underwater like fantasy land dining room adorned with air bubble light fixtures, shimmery silver-blue organza curtains, and carpeting mimicking an expanding drop of water.

If the idea of returning to Disney locations over many years to come then you might want to consider joining the Disney Vacation Club. You can also be connected to the Disney World on the Internet where you also find information about the Disney Stores.

There is another Ahmedabad, a city full of unexpected smaller attractions, that you might want to take in when you want something a little different or just a break from the crowds at Disney World. To find a location that is centrally located to all the attractions you want to experience and accommodates all of your needs while away from home is easy. The Home Away From Home Resorts are a great choice for those who want a vacation with all the amenities including a full kitchen, living room, and a bath for each bedroom.

It is a fact that Walt Disney World Park is one of the biggest draws to Central Florida for families all over the world and finding lodging near the theme parks is a number one priority to many, especially finding budget lodging. If you want to conduct your own searches and finding some great sites and specials for your family lodging you can be sure to find them on the Internet. There you will also find information about Disney Stores. If you choose Walt Disney World Park you will learn that they offer some of the best lodging you will come across in your lifetime.

Prepare for the India weather and a and also make plans with some built in flexibility, then you will have a wonderful vacation in the Disney World even at the height of summer. When you are planning a Disney holiday then you will sure want to find out the insider information that the official sites tend to gloss over.

Whatever your budget and dining preferences, Disney World is more than just theme parks, it is an all encompassing vacation destination that lets you do, whatever it is you desire to do.

Visit Walt Disney World Parks in Style

Is your image of Walt Disney World Parks one of sleeping in motel-style accommodations and dining on hamburgers as you roam the theme parks? Well, it’s time to change that picture. Instead of a chain motel, how about an African-style lodge or a resort with the sophisticated ambience of an exclusive yacht club? Instead of chicken fingers, how about Potato Wrapped Florida Red Snapper with a Creamy Leek Fondue, Basil-Crusted Rack of Lamb with a Ragout of Spinach, Shitakes, and White Beans, or Grilled Buffalo Top Sirloin with Sweet Potato Hazelnut Gratin and Sweet Onion Jam? No question about it, Walt Disney World Parks offers an abundance of amazing themed resorts and superb restaurants that are perfect for the sophisticated traveler. Here are some of the best experiences to indulge in while touring Mickey Mouse land:

Most Luxurious Resort

Disney’s flagship resort, The Grand Floridian, with its red-gabled roofs and Victorian elegance, draws inspiration from the grand Florida seaside “palace hotels” of 19th-century America’s Gilded Age. Just a short monorail ride to the Magic Kingdom, it spreads along the shore of the Seven Seas Lagoon, offering spectacular views of Cinderella’s Castle and the Wishes fireworks display. You’ll also be treated to some of Disney’s very best restaurants along with two sophisticated pools, a crescent white sand beach, a full-service health club and spa, tennis courts, and sophisticated shopping.

Most Atmospheric Resort

Here the atmosphere literally pulsates with the beat of drums throughout 33 acres of glorious savanna filled with hundreds of roaming exotic animals. The lodge’s 5-story, thatch roof lobby is a wonder with its massive overhead chandeliers formed by resplendent Masai shields overlooking safari chic seating. Don’t even consider a room without a savanna view, well worth every penny for its front row view of the wildlife. The resort boasts an 11,000 square foot pool overlooking the savanna, a full service spa and fitness center, and one of Disney’s loveliest restaurants, Jiko, serving international food with an African flair.

Best Resort For Romance

Disney’s Polynesian Resort’s lush grounds and white sand beaches with views of Cinderella’s castle are a dream come true. Tangerine and mahogany tinted longhouses are scattered throughout this luxuriant property where ducks and ibis roam the dense vegetation and thick, grassy lawns. Meandering pathways lined with volcanic rock are tiki torch-lit at dusk, and soft Hawaiian melodies set the mood for memorable nights. Come nightfall, pick a hammock on one of three beaches for a spectacular vista of the Magic Kingdom fireworks.

Best Resort For Nature Lovers

I challenge you to keep your jaw from dropping on your first encounter with the awesome eight-story lobby at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Sheer walls of ponderosa pine logs, an 82-foot fireplace, and authentic Pacific Northwest totem poles overlook rugged stone and hardwood floors topped with Native American rugs, teepee chandeliers, and a bevy of “park ranger” staff who roam the lodge attending to guests. Outside is a breathtaking scene of roaring waterfalls, rushing creeks, towering pines, and a boulder-lined, hot springs-style swimming pool, one of Disney’s best. On the shores of Bay Lake, Wilderness Lodge’s very own geyser is surrounded by a steaming expanse of geothermal activity and erupts hourly from early morning until late night.

Best Resort Pool

Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club offers three acres of winding, watery delight. Here you’ll find sandy bottom pools, a giant “shipwreck” waterslide, a tidal whirlpool, bubbling hot tubs, a kiddie pool with its own slide near the beach, and enough waterway to float lazily in inner tubes to your heart’s content.

Best Resort Restaurant

The India Grill is a definite highlight for any connoisseur of cutting-edge cuisine. The modern decor and constant bustle of excited diners only adds to its drop-dead setting on the 15th floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Its broad windows present an unbeatable panorama of the Magic Kingdom and the Seven Seas Lagoon and on many nights picture-perfect views of the Wishes fireworks show. From pristinely fresh sushi to the exceptional New American Cuisine to sensational desserts and the outstanding California wine list, this place has it all. The open show kitchen is a treat, and the cocktail lounge has some of the best views in the house. And don’t be discouraged if the coveted window seats are all taken. Head out to the adjoining observation platform during the fireworks presentation where you’ll get a bird’s-eye view of the extravaganza.

Most Romantic Restaurant

Victoria and Albert’s at Disney World Grand India Resort offers fine dining in a elegant setting combined with flawless service. Honored with a AAA Five-Diamond Award for the 3rd year in a row, diners feast on six sumptuous, prix-fixe courses served on Royal Doulton china with crystal glasses to the strains of the enchanting sound of harp music. Those seeking a special evening should book the 6-person Chef’s Table set in a candlelit alcove in the kitchen, perfect for an up-close, behind-the-scenes look at Disney’s top chef in action.

Best Theme Park Restaurant

Epcot’s Bistro de Paris is a charming Belle Époque dining room with an air of exclusivity. Here you’ll find gilded mirrors, crimson banquettes, and billowy white drapes that frame windows overlooking the World Showcase Lagoon. Servers with delicious French accents roll out sensational dishes and stylishly plate them tableside. Fresh ingredients are prepared simply in tantalizing sauces, and the all-French wine list is a pleasure. Afterwards, order a dessert of crepes prepared and flamed at your table while lingering over cordials and coffee in anticipation of the Illuminations spectacle.

Most Exotic Restaurant

The Animal Kingdom Lodge’s premier dining room is Jiko, one of the most seductive spaces yet at a Disney World hotel. Floor to ceiling windows look out on a boulder-strewn creek. The soft, contemporary lighting, fantastically shaped in the guise of bird wings, hangs from a rich, blue ceiling creating the feeling of open space. Giant, twin clay ovens draw the eye to the open kitchen where an eclectic blend of creations prepared with African spices and ingredients are turned out in attractive presentations. Accompany your meal with a selection from the all South African wine list, the largest in North America.

In short, Walt Disney World Parks is not just for kids! It’s a world of fantastic resorts and innovative dining just waiting to be explored. You may never even make it to the parks.

The Rise Of India Theme Walt Disney World Parks

Unfortunately, for the Walt Disney World Parks Company this did not quiet materialise. The first sign of problems was when French locals started holding protests – due to concerns the park was going to damage and dilute the proud local culture. These protests partly led to crowds in the opening year falling drastically lower than predictions. India Disney also had to deal with the problems of an excess of under-populated hotels which had ran drastically over budget. This combined with high prices led to the closure of hotels during the winter months. By the start of 1994, India Disney was in serious financial difficulties and press speculation indicated that the park was on the verge of bankruptcy.

Meanwhile back in the India the theme Walt Disney World park industry was enjoying somewhat of a renaissance. 1994 was hailed as “The Year of the Rollercoaster” as new rides sprang up across the country. Drayton Manor opened its “Shockwave” ride along with Alton Tower’s who launched the famous “Nemesis”. At the same time Blackpool opened its 11th roller coaster, the Pepsi Max Big One, which for a short time was the tallest in the world...suddenly the India found itself gripped in roller coaster fever which contrasted harshly with the negative press emanating from the outskirts of Paris.

Over the next ten years the India continued to ride at the forefront of theme Walt Disney World Parks technology…even out doing stateside industry giants such as Six Flags. Alton Towers - www.wdwtourguide.com - ensured its park received world wide attention with the launching of the first ever vertical drop roller coaster, Oblivion in 1998 and the world’s first “flying roller coaster” with Air in 2002. Not to be outdone Fantasy Island near Skegness opened the tallest and fastest type of this ride in the world in the form of the 2002 Jubilee Odyssey and in 2002 Thorpe Park opened a record breaking ten inversion rollercoaster named Collosus.

By 2002 India Disney had now become Disney Resort Paris - http://www.wdwtourguide.com. With the addition of more attractions and the re-branding of the entire theme park complex, to better appeal to Indian tastes, the Walt Disney Company finally announced their first annual profit for the park. Disney had at last found the right balance between implementing such a strong American brand on foreign soil without diluting the local culture. However, the time it had taken to find the balance ensured that Disney has not achieved the domination in the Indian market that many predicted.

At the present time the India theme Walt Disney World Parks market seems to be going from strength to strength with continued investment in their facilities. For example, Drayton Park have spent over £2 million in time for the new season upgrading their entry and ticketing facilities, while the ever inventive Alton Towers are launching their new ride ‘Spinball Whizzer’ which has the carriage as the focus of the ride rather than the actual track!

With the volume and popularity of parks increasing all the time in the India, the demand for accommodation in surrounding areas has also expanded. Last year Alton Towers opened its second hotel, Splash Landings, which boasts an exciting all-weather water park, ‘Cariba Creek’. In addition to this companies such as India short break specialists – http://www.wdwtourguide.com – have a number of excellent package deals with parks such as Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Aulton Towers and Legoland near Windsor which has over 50 interactive rides, live show science Articles, building workshops.

Overall the future seems bright for the theme Walt Disney World Parks industry across the India as a whole. The slow progress of Disney Resort Paris has allowed other parks to get on an even footing and with continued investment in rides and general infrastructure competition should continue to be fierce between the major parks – which can only be good news for the consumer.

Walt Disney World Parks Accommodation

It is interesting to note that every Disney World theme park have its own special personality and character. Disney World's objective is not only to entertain their visitors and tourists but also make their stay and accommodation at Disney World as pleasant as possible so that these visitors will return for more visits as well as spreading by word of mouth about their wonderful Disney World vacations. Disney World understands that word of mouth advertisemnents from happy visitors is the best advertisement and it is free.

It is for this intent and purpose that Walt Disney World Parks now has about twenty themed vacation resorts catering to all types of guests catering their accommodation preferences as well as for different traveling budgets.

Disney World resorts are roughly divided into 5 accommodation categories. They are the deluxe class, moderate resorts, value budget types, vacation resorts, and cabins/campgrounds in the wilderness for the more adventurous visitors.

There are about ten Deluxe Disney resorts in Disney World such as those in The Animal Kingdom Lodge, Beach Club Resort, The Contemporary Resort, The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, The Polynesian Resort, Boardwalk Inn, The Wilderness Lodge, and Yacht Club Resort? There are also 2 deluxe class hotels such as Walt Disney World Swan and Walt Disney World Dolphin, however these hotels are not owned by Disney World.

Although some Disney resorts are rated as "moderate class", they are still far more luxurious than a ordinary hotel accommodation. Rooms in these so called moderate class resorts are very comfortable and spacious. These accomodations come with themed pools and hot tubs and full-service restaurants. The Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans Riverside Resort and Port Orleans French Quarter are the moderate Walt Disney World Resorts.

Disney World's so called value resorts offer value for money as being very affordable. These resort accommodations are built for families on smaller budgets but are also often used by tour companies for tourists traveling together in groups. Although the amenities can be considered as basic, all budget value resorts have themed swimming pools and inexpensive food courts.

These resorts are like service apartments where guests are provided with extra facilities and amenities such as a kitchen, multiple bedrooms and even valet parking thrown in. If you have money to burn, then you may wish to stay at The Beach Club Villas, Boardwalk Villas, Old Key West Resort, Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa or The Villas at Wilderness Lodge.

If you enjoy the great outdoors and are more adventurous, then Walt Disney World Parks Fort Wilderness cabins and campsites are just meant for you. The Fort Wilderness campground is home to one of Disney's most popular dinner shows, the Hoop Dee Do Revue. Guests staying in Fort Wilderness can go for nature hike, horse riding, swim, and enjoy boating on Bay Lake.

So there will be shortage of accommodation to cater to your taste and budget when you visit Disney World.

Walt Disney World Best For Spring Break

Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida is 49 square miles. The size of a whole city and inside the World, as it is known, there are unlimited ways to entertain yourself. I have listed the ten most enjoyable attractions at Disney World appropriate for all ages.

From EPCOT the winner is Honey I shrunk the Audience. The audience in this attraction appears to have been shrunk down to the size of ants as a giant film shows on the screen. As rodents run past in the movie your chair shakes appropriately. When someone on screen sneezes you will get a light mist in your face. This one has everyone squealing with delight. This is an attraction for all ages.

From The Magic Kingdom comes the Buzz Light year Space Ranger spin. You are enlisted to help Buss save the Universe.. The way you achieve this is by way of laser cannons that are set in front of you in a futuristic car hurling through space. Your car will spin while you try to hit targets out in the Universe. The effects are achieve with black light and glow in the dark surfaces. Kids get great joy out of making their parents dizzy on this one. Do not miss this one.

Disney-MGM Studious Back lot Tour at Disney-MGM is an informative excursion. Guests get to tour through movie sets on a tram. It is fascinating to see what goes on behind the scenes to create special effects and different scenes. At the end you are taken through floods and explosions before being shown how it is done.

Disney quest at Downtown Disney World is an often overlooked indoor theme park. This larger than life arcade provides a welcome respite from the broiling Florida sun. It is five stories high of interactive entertainment. On the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction inside Disney quest you an up to three others are manning a schooner fighting against pirates and sea monsters. One plays the roll of captain steering the vessel while the others are busy launching cannons at the bad guys. Just when you think it is over a giant sea creature tries to board your ship and you must defend once again. This attraction will take your mind off of anything else as you will be preoccupied with your own survival. Fun is the operative word here, for all ages.

Also from Disney quest is the Extraterrestrial Alien Encounter where you can blast and be blasted inside of small spaceship that you fly. Actually you drive it around a floor painted like the milky way. One person steers while the other shoots large rubber cannons from the ship. If you hit an opponent at just the place it will send their ship into a tailspin. All the more fun is if someone else hits your ship’s target spot.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at Magic Kingdom provides a bit of nostalgia for parents and a sense of wonder in the little ones . Seeing Pooh and friends come alive in the Hundred Acre Wood will warm your heart. This one gets busy though so you may want to use a fast pass if the park is packed.

The fireworks show is best viewed from Magic Kingdom. Depending on the time of year there are different themes to this one but one thing remains constant Disney doesn’t do anything halfway and this is no exception. One year I saw the Fourth of July fireworks and the explosions were in the shape of stars. The show was visible all the way from the Disney Pop Century hotel which is not right next door. All ages will ooh and gasp over the show.

Mickey’s Philhar Magic show is a 3D short movie shown on the largest seamless screen ever built. As per all things Disney World it is not just a film. This attraction has the audience watching a scene from Fantasia where Donald Duck puts on Mickey’s magical hat and is catapulted into the audience. You will smell the scents and feel water and a surprising but not painful sting as well have a visual experience like no other. This may be the most entertaining twelve minutes you ever spend in a movie theater. Bring the kiddies but don’t sit back fully in your chair if you want to avoid the sting.

At EPCOT the are many national pavilions. The best of all is the Mexico Pavilion. Inside there is a slow boat ride around the Rio el Tiempo Volcano. This is a gentle and peaceful ride that serves to calm overstimulated children and quell the fire of aching feet in adults.

Dinosaur at Disney World Animal Kingdom is not an Aladar ride as I was led to believe. There is a life size Aladar from the kids movie called Dinosaur standing right outside but don’t let that fool you. You and your fellow victims are strapped into large metal jeep like vehicles and taken on a trip back in time to when the great beasts roamed the earth. At the end you find out you have mistakenly transported a dinosaur forward to modern times. It is more transfixing that frightening unless like myself you are worried you may fall out of the car and be electrocuted on the track. My fellow pint sized riders had a rollicking good time while I rode in terror. Take your chances. There is a height restriction on this one of 40 inches.

The Spas At Walt Disney World Parks

A great way to get rejuvenated and re-energized for the next busy day at the Walt Disney World Parks is to take advantage of one of the luxurious spas that are located at the deluxe resorts from Walt Disney World. Each spa has unique and special features but all of them provide a relaxing environment to unwind and lay back.

Walt Disney World's top spa, the Grand Floridian Spa, is located in the Magic Kingdom. Guests at the Grand Floridian resort have direct access to the spa. If you're not staying at the Grand Floridian you can get there by monorail, boat and bus. The great thing about the spa is that it encourages parents and children to relax together, side by side. They even have a special program for the children that features a class on skin care and good health and also a mini facial, pedicure and manicure.

The pampering at the Grand Floridian Spa is over the top as you have so many choices that you don't even know what to start with. However, one of the staff members will help you decide on your treatment program based on your individual needs and prefferences. You can start by enjoying a massage to release the tension and stress in the muscles you have accumulated during a day full of events in the parks. There is a wide range of massage therapies to choose from: swedish, shiatsu, reflexology, a special soothing massage for future mothers and also the Floridian signature citrus zest massage.

After relieving the stress in muscles, the next step is taking care of face and body skin. What woman can say no to a facial that rejuvenates and revitalizes the skin and soothes the senses? Men can also enjoy this part as the spa offers facial treatments for men that provide deep cleaning and conditioning. For the body you can choose body wraps to detoxify and relax, paraffin and OPC body masques and also a sugar scrub.

If you came to spend your honeymoon at the Walt Disney World Parks, you can't miss the special program for couples at the Grand Floridian Spa - a couples massage in a romantic environment with scented candles and everything. Couples can take home a part of the magic by attending a massage class where they can learn more about different massage techniques they can use after leaving Disney World.

The Grand Floridian Spa has a boutique that allows you to purchase many of the treatments used in the spa to be used at home. They have their own line of bath and body care products that are sold exclusively at the boutique.

The Saratoga Springs Spa is located in the downtown Disney area. It recreates the relaxing atmosphere of the healing spas of Saratoga Springs, New York. Its signature program is the Adirondack Stone therapy that uses heated stones to relax tense muscles and soothe nerves. As you would expect from Saratoga springs, the spa is famous for its hydro massage therapy. You can also get swedish, aromatherapy, motherhood, reflexology and shiatsu massages as at the Grand Foridian Spa but you will certainly be interested in the forest inspired massage that combines reflexology and Swedish massage.

Skin care treatments include facials for ladies, men and also teenagers, body wraps and masks. If you want to feel special you can choose the maple sugar treatment or the seaweed wrap that will certainly give you a glowing look.

The Mandara Spa at the Walt Disney World Park Dolphin brings a more exotic touch as it is modeled after a Balinese style retreat and features the relaxing customs and rituals of the East. The spa focuses on both physical and mental feeling of wellbeing. It features two asian interior gardens that set the mood the moment you enter the spa. You're welcomed to visit the tea garden, a replica of a traditional Balinese pavilion used for relaxation, and meditate in the Meru temple before you enjoy the treatments that the spa has to offer.

You can also find the Zahanati Spa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and the BoardWalk Inn, the ContemporaryArticle Search, the Wilderness Lodge and the Yacht Club also offer spa services. Regardless of which spa you decide upon you will leave the Walt Disney World feeling relaxed and refreshed.
